Dr. Richard White, Director, Career Services
Richard has been director of Career Services since 1990. Prior to that, he served as manager of college relations for International Paper, Nabisco, and Brown Brothers Harriman. He has a B.A. from Dartmouth College, M.A. from the University of Kent in England, and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, all in English. His areas of expertise include business writing, corporate environments, personal statement critiques, program planning and management, and proposal writing.
Janet Bernardin, Coordinator, Special Programs
Janet has been in her current position since 1993 and at Rutgers since 1987. She was previously director of Career Planning and Placement at the State University of New York at Oswego. She has a B.A. in sociology from SUNY-Oswego and a M.S. in counseling from SUNY-Oswego. Her areas of expertise include career fairs and program planning and implementation.
Dorothy Kerr, Executive Manager, Employer Services
Dorothy has managed the on-campus recruiting program and other employer services since 1979, and she has been employed at Rutgers since 1971. She has a B.A. in psychology from Rutgers. Her areas of expertise include alumni services, career days, image consulting, program planning, public relations, and recruiting.
Lisa Goddard, Employer Services Coordinator
Lisa has been with Career Services since 1995. Her areas of responsibility include educating employers and students on the MonsterTRAK and InterviewTRAK systems, scheduling recruiting dates, and assisting with employer services.
MaryBeth Kimberlin, Employer Services Assistant
Mary Beth joined Career Services in 2000 and began her Rutgers career in 1985. Her responsibilities including greeting employers prior to their campus interviews, scheduling recruiting dates, and assisting employers with their recruiting needs.
Larissa Keller. Employer Services Coordinator
Larissa has been with Career Services since 2001. She has a B.A. in
anthropology from Rutgers. She is responsible for Interfolio (Rutgers' electronic credentials service), career day administration, and employer services, including recruiting dates and information sessions.
Alison Koo, Budget and Technical Coordinator
Alison has been with Career Services since 1992. She is responsible for managing Career Services' budget and handling department-wide personnel matters, and providing troubleshooting.
Barbara Melamed, Website Project Manager
Barbara has been in her current position since 2001. She came to Rutgers as a part-time career counselor in 1991. Barbara has also worked as director of career planning at Monmouth University and assistant director at Towson State University. She has a B.A. in psychology from Susquehanna University and a M.S. in counseling and human systems from Florida State University. Her areas of expertise include website management and content development.
