Dr. Richard White, Director, Career Services
Richard has been director of Career Services since 1990. Prior to that, he served as manager of college relations for International Paper, Nabisco, and Brown Brothers Harriman. He has a B.A. from Dartmouth College, M.A. from the University of Kent in England, and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, all in English. His areas of expertise include business writing, corporate environments, personal statement critiques, program planning and management, and proposal writing.
Chrystal McArthur, Senior Associate Director
Chrystal served as the associate director of the Career Center at 46 College Avenue from 1993 - 2011. She is a nationally certified counselor with 25 years plus of academic, personal, and career counseling experience targeted towards assisting individuals in leading more fulfilling lives. She has her A.B. in psychology from Lincoln University and M.Ed. in counseling from Howard University. Her areas of expertise include career development and management issues of adults, academic and career development of people of African descent, graduate students' career development issues, vocational/career assessment, and career issues of individuals with disabilities. Chrystal is also a certified distance counselor.
Dorothy Kerr, Executive Manager, Employer Services
Dorothy has managed the on-campus recruiting program and other employer services since 1979, and she has been employed at Rutgers since 1971. She has a B.A. in psychology from Rutgers. Her areas of expertise include alumni services, career days, image consulting, program planning, public relations, and recruiting.
Alison Koo, Budget and Technical Coordinator
Alison has been with Career Services since 1992. She has a B.A. in psychology from Rutgers. She is responsible for managing Career Services' budget and handling department-wide personnel matters, and providing troubleshooting.
Lisa Goddard, Employer Services Coordinator
Lisa has been with Career Services since 1995. Her areas of responsibility include educating employers and students on the CareerKnight system, scheduling recruiting dates, and assisting with employer services.
Larissa Keller, Employer Services Coordinator
Larissa has been with Career Services since 2001. She has a B.A. in anthropology from Rutgers. She is responsible for Interfolio (Rutgers' electronic credentials service), career day administration, and employer services, including recruiting dates and information sessions.
MaryBeth Kimberlin, Employer Services Assistant
Mary Beth joined Career Services in 2000 and began her Rutgers career in 1985. Her responsibilities include greeting employers prior to their campus interviews, scheduling recruiting dates, and assisting employers with their recruiting needs.
Mark O. Kerr, Assistant
Mark has been with Career Services since 2003. He has a B.A. degree in psychology from Mount Union College and a M.A. in student personnel services in higher education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has held positions in the career services field at Bucknell University, the College of William & Mary, the Rutgers Business School/Graduate School of Management, and DeVry University.
