Policy on External Requests for Counseling

The Office of Career Services at Rutgers University-New Brunswick provides a wide range of services to members of the Rutgers community. However, we are unable to provide counseling services to individuals who are not Rutgers students or alumni. Here are several resources that you may wish to consider:

	Participate in our New Jersey Collegiate Career Days in early January and late May each year. The events take place at the Rutgers Student Center and Brower Commons on College Avenue in New Brunswick. They are open to students and graduates of any college or university. Online pre-registration is available on our website.
	For individual career counseling, contact the Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at 732-445-6111. The Career Psychology Group provides counseling services according to your ability to pay.
	For distance counseling, contact ReadyMinds, Inc. at 212-633-0505 or www.readyminds.com. A six-month package, including two in-depth phone counseling sessions, is $499.
