Alumni Career Network - Consult the Alumni Career Network to speak with Rutgers alumni concerning their fields of employment. Hundreds of alumni are willing to provide information interviews and career advice.  Also, register to be a career mentor for others. 
Alumni eNewsletter - Read our monthly career newsletter for alumni. Go to the "Rutgers Monthly Alumni Newsletter." Scroll down and click on "Career Services for Alumni" on the left side.
Career Assessments - Assessment instruments are available in conjunction with career counseling appointments to help with career changing and decision making. Also available is our Rutgers Online Career Planning Site, which identifies your interests, skills and values and relates them to occupations.
Career Counseling - Discuss career issues with a professional career counselor. The fee is $40 per hour. The first session is free for alumni association members. Call for an appointment. Fifteen-minute "drop-in" resume critiques are free. Generally, recent graduates will be granted a six or seven-month "grace period" in which they will not be charged for individual career counseling sessions.
Career Days - Career days bring alumni and employers together to discuss career opportunities. Events are free to alumni. Career Days include the Alumni, Business & Liberal Arts, Engineering & Computer Science, Government & Non-Profit, Internship, Math & Actuarial, New Jersey Diversity, Science, and two N.J. Collegiate Career Days. Also attend the Graduate and Professional School Day.
Career Resource Centers - Visit our three career libraries and computer labs to research careers, employers, graduate schools, and jobs.
College Majors and Career Information - Review career information on over 70 Rutgers University majors to learn about related career options, types of employers that hire each major, and jobs obtained by Rutgers alumni for each major.
Credentials Service - Utilize our online credentials service in support of your applications for teaching positions or graduate school. Set up and manage your own personal reference file at www.interfolio.com . Request letters of recommendation from three professors who know you and your work well.
Distance Career Counseling - R.U. Career Services has arranged for ReadyMinds, Inc.to provide personalized distance career counseling services, including phone consultations and online assessments. Learn more about ReadyMinds online or contact them at (888) 225-8248. Note: Distance counseling is provided by the professionally trained ReadyMinds staff.

Workshops, Seminars and Panels - Attend programs on all campuses. Numerous evening programs are available. Topics include job search, interviewing, career panels and the Internet.
