- View part-time and summer internship listings online, at CareerKnight.
- Explore the Rutgers Internship and Co-op Program.
- View interview postings on CareerKnight. You can interview for summer internship positions on campus in the fall and spring semesters. Most internship interviews take place during the spring semester. Over 100 employers interview juniors and occasionally sophomores.
- Attend the Internship Career Day in early February. Meet employers, submit resumes, and gather information. Also check out our other career days from September to May for employers offering internships.
- Utilize the internship section on the Career Services website, attend an internship search seminar, and visit employer websites to identify internship opportunities. Develop a list of employers for which you would like to work. Contact them regarding summer positions.
- Check with your major academic department for possible internship leads.
- Develop a networking strategy using your own network of family and friends, and the Rutgers University Alumni Career Network. This is an online listing of Rutgers alumni who are willing to be contacted to give you career information and advice.
- Access the RU Career Library links, which contain hundreds of employment resources.
- Attention Engineering Majors: Participate in the Rutgers Engineering Co-op Program. Work for six months, gain academic credits and receive a competitive salary.
