Senior Year Action Plan

Action Steps for All Seniors
Visit any of our three career libraries, which contain job and internship binders, employer directors, career literature, and graduate school information.
Explore our website for information on everything from upcoming events to jobs to graduate school.
Prepare your resume or graduate school personal statement and have it critiqued by a career counselor. Contact Dr. Richard White at riwhite@rci.rutgers.edu for personal statement critiques.
Become actively involved in student organizations or volunteer work to develop career-related skills and  build your resume.
Use the online Alumni Career Network to contact alumni in your major or fields of interest.
Visit the Rutgers Online Career Planning Site. Identify your interests, skills, and values and see how they relate to Rutgers majors and future jobs. Ideas for graduate school study can also be explored. A brief introductory session with a career counselor is required.

Once registered, participate in MonsterTRAK (jobs, internships and resume database) and InterviewTRAK (on-campus interviewing).
