| RUTGERS
ONLINE CAREER PLANNING SITE |
| Now
in its third year, the Rutgers Online
Career Planning Site enables students to evaluate quickly
their interests, skills and values and determine their "career
type." They can then relate their career types to Rutgers
majors and jobs obtained by Rutgers graduates with those majors.
The site is geared primarily to first and second-year students
who are deciding on majors. To access the site, students should
contact any Career Services office for the site password and
next steps, including a consultation with a career counselor.

| FOCUS |
| Career
Services is pleased to introduce Focus, another online career
assessment site. This validated assessment instrument provides
in-depth analysis of your interests, skills and values and relates
them to suitable career choices. The site is geared primarily
to juniors, seniors and alumni involved in choosing a career
or going through career transition. It is available at our three
computer labs at 46 College Avenue and the Busch Campus Center. |

| VAULT
ONLINE CAREER LIBRARY |
| Based
on the popular response of nearly 10,000 visitors last year,
Career Services is sponsoring the Vault online library back
for a second year. It provides inside looks at industry trends,
profiles some 2500 companies, and features insider testimonials
on what it's really like to work at specific employers. It's
a great resource for students and will give them a competitive
edge in their job search. Please encourage students to log on
to our website and click on "Online
Career Library." |

| ALUMNI
CAREER NETWORK |
| The
Rutgers Alumni
Career Network keeps growing! It is now more than 1,500
mentors strong. Students can identify Rutgers graduates by their
undergraduate or graduate major, career field, or industry and
then can contact them via e-mail or phone. It's a great way
to build career awareness and contacts. The school password
for the site is "henry." |
