First- & Second-year Students

Many first and second year students believe career planning is something for seniors. On the contrary, career planning is a process that begins early in your undergraduate experience and will most likely last a lifetime.

As an added service to Rutgers University students, Career Services supports first and second year students with choosing a college major and developing career plans. Undecided students can find help, individually and in workshops, with the self-assessment necessary to make good career decisions.
