We use the following criteria in reviewing internship listings for online posting:- Full contact information from employers including an email address to receive resumes.
- For each position the employer should provide a brief company description and complete job description.
We will not post the following jobs and internships:
- Positions that involve participation as a research subject.
- Require an initial investment by the student or are paid through commission-only (Note: positions that have a salary plus commission are acceptable).
- Opportunities that are performed in private homes (i.e. childcare, gardening, housekeeping, respite care, etc.).
- Multi-level marketing opportunities.
- Commission-only jobs.
- Positions that require any equipment or products to be purchased by the prospective employee in order to earn their wage. (Note: this is true prior to being hired, after the employment offer and after employment has commenced).
- Opportunities that charge for any training that is required prior to employment. (Note: required training must also pay an hourly wage to the prospective employee).
