Student Marketing Task Force

The Career Services Student Marketing Task Force is a volunteer student group, developed in 2004, to increase student input in all our communications and marketing initiatives and improve our student outreach efforts.

Role of the Task Force - To assist with the marketing and promotion of Career Services events, programs and services.

Provide ongoing student input and feedback to improve Career Services communications and marketing
Develop marketing materials and programs that will appeal to students
Help plan and implement marketing blitzes and promotions
Advertise events through street team marketing and flyering
Perform public relations role and act as student ambassador
Assist at Career Days and special events
Conduct student surveys

Develop highly marketable skills: leadership, communication, marketing, public relations and organizational
Obtain valuable experience to build your resume
Interface with employers, administrators and career services staff at an exclusive level

Commitment Required

Attend one meeting per month to provide input and feedback (some e-meetings)
Volunteer to assist with projects based on your interests and talents as needed
Represent Career Services in a professional manner at all times
Look for opportunities to enhance the image of Career Services on campus
