Admission Test

| The
Dental Admission Test (DAT) is conducted by the American Dental
Association (ADA) and has been in operation on a national basis
since 1950. The Dental Admission Test is administered on computer
on almost any day of the year. The testing program is designed
to measure general academic ability, comprehension of scientific
information, and perceptual ability. While all dental schools
require examinees to participate in the Dental Admission Testing
Program, test results are only one factor considered in evaluating
the admission potential of a examinee. |

Management Admission Test (GMAT)

Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT®) is a standardized
assessmentdelivered in Englishthat helps business
schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced
study in business and management. Schools use the test as one
predictor of academic performance in an MBA program or in other

Record Examinations (GRE)

GRE® General Test measures critical thinking, analytical
writing, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning skills
that have been acquired over a long period of time and that
are not related to any specific field of study. The GRE®
Subject Tests gauge undergraduate achievement in eight specific

School Aptitude Test (LSAT)

Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a half-day standardized
test required for admission to all ABA-approved law schools,
most Canadian law schools, and many non-ABA-approved law schools.
It provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal
reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of several
factors in assessing applicants. The test is administered four
times a year at hundreds of locations around the world. |

Miller
Analogies Test

The Miller
Analogies Test (MAT) is a high-level mental ability test requiring
the solution of problems stated as analogies. It consists
of 120 partial analogies that are to be completed within 60
minutes.
Registration:
To take the MAT at Rutgers, call Career Services at (732)
445-6127. The staff will take your name, address, and phone
number, and reserve a seat for you on a specified test date.

title. The Division of Selection Services looks at how the title
